Was born in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland and in his late teens was involved in children’s and youth ministry. He married Diane, the love of his life, in 1985 and in 1989 they moved to Galway in order to pursue further ministry training. They served in Galway Christian Fellowship for seven years and then in 1997 followed the call of God to Athlone to establish River of Life Midlands Christian Family, where they have pastored the church for the past 23 years. He has a real desire to see people encounter the love of God in a genuine life-changing way that enables them to fulfil God’s call upon their lives, both inside and outside the church.

In 2015 they took over the leadership of Plumbline Ireland Ministries, a family of Churches and Ministries within Ireland and oversees. He is on the Advisory Council for Tearfund Ireland and is a part of the Council of Reference for E.A.I. (Evangelical Alliance of Ireland).

Trevor has served as the Chairman of Hope Trust since its inception in 2005. He is motivated to see people get the help they need when faced with life-controlling problems. He is also passionate about marriage believing if we get marriage right, we get family right which in turn leads to getting church right. This enables us, as individuals and as faith communities, to reflect the love of Jesus to a needy world.

Trevor has written and published his autobiography, ‘Loving Beyond the Limit’ which incorporates his family’s journey with the Lord in life, including the loss of Peter, his son at the age of 17. He has 3 adult daughters, a son in law and one grandson. He came from a sporting family and played soccer and tennis competitively and now enjoys playing golf whenever he can.
